yeah its a total brute in the 60' now.... I keep adding timing and it keeps loving it.. I have gone from 9 - 24 advanced off 800 rpms and every time I add more it likes it...
Except now its got some vicious tire spin... although the car actually has picked up in the 60'!!!!

Im gonna race some more friday night again and im pulling out all the stops for a 12 second run....
Slicks....Use my vacuum pump....Air up the front rock solid for extra rollout...and my shift kit will be in there

the two best timeslips are at... . http://kmhmods.homestead.com/files/timeslip2.gif

Seems you got ahold of tuning that thing pretty good. You took off .5 of a sec. thats better than most mail order tuners. Get a dyno, I bet it would be interesting to see the before and after numbers of your tuning. WHere did you get that LT1 edit from? WHat computer are you using to run it?

Keep up the good work! 12's should be a cake walk for you with slicks and the shift kit. Let us know how it pans out!

Jeff

Well I went from 13.52 to 13.17 and that was with taking off the serpentine belt though.. ran a 13.32 with just tune...then I took out pass seat and serp belt...run 13.18 then I added another degree on the low end...and it went 13.17 but I accidentally rolled in to deep which killed my rollout and therefore about .02

I would have still been tuning it to go faster and faster but it was 10:30 and track was closing....

I bought a cable from http://www.akmcables.com and the program I use to tune with..LT1 edit was from http://www.carputing.com I bought the expert version..I spent 2 hours making a few tunes... took it to the track and found out which was faster...and worked on that particular tune from there.

But if you have a 96 you will to switch to a OBD1 computer becuase a OBD2 car has alot of quirks that make tuning a pain in the ass...and the stuff to program an OBD2 computer is twice the cost.....

You will acutally save money by buying a OBD1 computer for $150 and the stuff to reprogram OBD1 for $300 total

If you want my tune I will send it to you free of charge once you are set up...
instant 2 tenths I can guarentee you.
