Anyone who knows about old school dragracing knows real torque converters slip....which is good becuase it keeps the motor's RPMs high up in the powerband.
The LT1 has a Lockup converter......when you shift into 3rd the computer kicks on a solenoid that locks up the clutch eliminting slippage.
When my car hits 3rd gear it bogs badly.... If I turn the torque converter clutch off with LT1 edit to let the Torque converter slips will I get less bog and better ETs?
The converter is built to lock up in 3rd gear to save on gas btw...its not for performance

Yes if your torque converter locks up in third gear then it will run better if it is turned off. You might consider making it lock off in fourth instead.
