Do you have access to a 0 to 5000 psi guage and fittings. Need to take some pressure readings and compare with what the manuals says.
For the ABS Module , it has to be checked with a TechII scanner for proper functioning. But Ibet it is functioning alright.

Is that something most mechanic shops would have? if so, Yes I do. good idea I never think of simple stuff like that.....I have never seen brake line pressure getting tested before..Is the pressure gauge specific to testing brake lines?

I just looked and saw a gauge specific to testing brake system pressure....
0 - 1500 PSI they say it screw right into the caliper....that means in place of the bleeder right?

If it is the Gm version from Snapon it should do it. As for the Brake pressure ,if brakes are a specialty for them then yes they should have one.

I encountered the same problem after I replaced my rear end. Turned out the rear I bought came out of a wrecked car and the axles were bent. (guy said that there was nothing wrong!) Probally just the flanges were warped, but it was enough to prevent the brakes from locking up. I replaced the axles and all was well. Remember that fishtailing with sticky tires can cause some problems, not that we would do any of that...
