Well, I got mr. gasket desktop dyno 2000 and built the motor
EXACTLY as im building it now,
I filled ALL specs to the EXACT numbers, and used no generic values,
unfortunately the motor I anticipated to be 525 HP is only going to make 490 according to the program.
Does anyone have any experience with this software? how accurate is it?
here is a screen shot of my setup, and results.
383 CI 6.6 Liter LT1
3.75" 4340 Scat Crank, 4.030" Lunati L350 Forged Pistons, Forged 6" H-Beam Rods, 0 Decked, Plained & Ported 52cc chamber LT1 heads, 13.3:1 Compression, 485/495 265/270@.050 cam, LT4 Rockers, #125 GMPP Springs, Double Roller Timing Chain, Low Drag Rings, Electric water pump, 52mm Throttle body.... A few other odds and ends.. going to be about $3,500

no, this is for generating an accurate hp estimate of any motor you may be building.
has nothing to do with the camaro

Some Opel dealers have them. About 50eur. The one in Wurzburg told me to come back in a week to do my car. When I went back they gave me some excuse that they can't do it because my car is an auto. What are they talking about??? It's a chassis dyno so it should make no difference. Am I wrong here???
Anyways, if you have a stick, it should cost you about 50 eur. There is no tuning involved at this price and should take about 30 minutes. (strapping the car down and what not. Hopefully the car isn't too low.)

Go down B40 and the VW dealership does them for 55 euro. Did ours this past spring. Only reads out in BHP but you can have it converted w/ the formula.

Hey SSZ28, where is the one in W-burg? I've talked to quite a few places around there and all said "not sure".

If you were to leave the back gate at Leighton, (near veh. reg.) you would turn left at the light. At the bottom of the hill, go straight thru the lights, past the OBI on your left and the BayWa on the right. You will see the Opel dealer on your left after the road starts to turn towards the left. Just remember, they said no to me because my car is an auto. The dyno is to the left of the service bays. It's in a "garage" by itself. The sign above it says "Leistungpruftstand". Don't quote me on the spelling.
