Well as some of you know I bought a new 2002 SS this last weekend and am supposed to pick it up this Sunday.... well here is my problem.. I am supposed to sell my LT1 this weekend as well and it took a crap on me today!

Here is the run down: I drove it all AM with no problems... I come home from PT and go to jump in it and run some errands and as soon as I start it it starts to sputter... then it dies... I was able to start it a few times and it would sputter but if I put it into gear or touch the gas it dies. Now it wont fire up at all.. has anyone else have this problem before? I am wondering if it is the OPTI but I have not had any prroblems prior to today

Can anyone help me out with this! Thanks!

Also I was not able to pull up any codes of any kind and my SES light never came on and all of my fuses seem to be good as well as my relays.

Thanks for the help.

Hopefully something stupid like a coil wire, or possible a coil.

The kewl thing with the spark producing stuff is they give no warning, they just go.

Murphy must be busy as hell, I thought he spent to much time screwing me up, but I see he still has time to get around.

Sorry about the bad luck

Yeah Mr Murphy gets around!!! Could it be the fuel filter? I have seen this happen to others and this was the cause. Good luck, I hope you get it fixed ASAP!

Well this is what I have found thus far. I have no fuel press at my schrader valve when I turn the key to the ON pos. I should have somewhere between 42 and 46 psi. I have read that there is a fuse and a relay for the pump but have been unable to locate them in either of the fuse boxes (one on Driver side between door and dash, and the other near the air box under the hood). Does anyone know of another location for these???? Thanks for the help.

I know on 3rd Gen Camaros there is a relay close to the fuel tank. The best thing in the world to get is a Haynes manual. That will tell you everything.

Good Luck man!
