Pulled the tranny 3 times, on my second clutch slave cylinder (dont ask :) ) and still I cant seem to get it right.

Basically here is the deal. Act as if this was a clutch install and your down to the last 2 bolts to re-hook up the slave. Obviously Im not getting the shift fork to engage?!? What is the last thing you do, I have pushed it up until it acted like it engaged the throw-out bearing, but it always wants to slip down.

Pry bar, BFH, Large Screwdriver motivation?

Give me your play by play of when you did it.

By the way, nothing fancy or changed, its a spec clutch, they have that kinda squarish throw out instead of a pretty round one, but it has been on there before, so by god I know it works :)

Thanks

Dude sorry I didn't get to this in time. You aren't the only one. Suprised you aren't running a Street Twin. I love that thing and it's giving me no problems either.

Street twin is what I wanted, but at the time it was several hundred more than I had/or wanted to spend.

Does the street twin chatter? What I mean, with my Kevlar clutch its like a light switch. Either its grabbing or its not, so driving it on the street takes focus on the lights, or you stall or come off like your trying to '60 in the 1.4sec range :) . OKay, maybe not that severe, but thats the general thing.

and no prob on the replies, I know that im out of the day/night cycle of you guys. Just with the excetion of one or two people, there is more/better tech here than cz28.com, minus the 14 year old drival.

Nope I had no chatter until some geezer smoked it. Went to get a estimate last yr for the racing stripe the Nurnburgring gave me and they smoked it. SO now it chatters every once in a while. Before though I could slip it and let off the gas and it would pull the car at idle 3mph w/out a fuss. Now I have to at least go 8 to 10mph. Sucks too because it was perfect on those stau's.

The clutch is possesed like Spec being a hit or miss grab or no grab. Grabs no matter how I release the clutch w/out violence. I love that thing!
Sometimes I have to check it just to see if its still got the bite. 120mph in 5th and drop to 4th just to hear the tires bark. eh-eh......:D
