Well since I have to be doing a rebuild I figured I might as well go all out and do it right.

Order is gonna look like this.
Clevite H Series Bearings, Rod & Main's
Stef's Custom oil pan, windage tray, crank scraper, baffles and trap door
w/ ported Melling oil pump (white spring)
Accusump by Canton
Oil filter relocation kit by Canton
Vacuum canister (brake booster)
200 Amp Alternator (enroute)
1/0 Guage battery cable kit (enroute)
CSR Electric water pump (enroute) got a deal on that. OEM housing and new water pump for 170 bucks! :D
Painless wiring for the CSR pump and early warning detection wiring kit w/ LED
Turn One steering pump :D

The rest is obligatory...front crank seal, new timing cover gasket etc.
Managaed to get it under 2K. Come next spring I'll be taking it under the knife myself.

Still too cheap to get a laptop though. LOL! No worries though I managed to acquire one. Now I just need to get the cable and a chip burner. Damn 93's. LOL!

I love it when you post. It lets me know I'm not the craziest one on the site for dumping all that $ into a ride.

Nice list... :)

That's what I'll be getting, too, when/if my current stock PS pump breaks down.

Jazzy it's like crack. I'm twitchin if I don't buy something. I honestly thought I was all maxed out concerning parts w/ the exception of the 9" but after this debacle I realized there is always room for improvement or upgrade. Not like I didn't know that before but I just didn't think any more was possible. The engine is bullet proof but the oiling system is subpar at best. Didn't make any sense to redo and leave the exact same system in place.

Once again though the 9" will be on hold til a later date. LOL! Guess I need to find some POR15 and just paint what I have.

Did you get my PM Jazzy?

Yea tell me about it. I am upgrading my entire brake system-wilwood plus new booster and master cylinder, Suspension Air ride tech & Spohn. and steering-flaming river. That should be enough for this year.

Just KC10 from the site with the 35th ANNV. One 2nd gen street rod with a big block with NOS. Talk about nasty.

Never understood you went through all that trouble and not convert the engine to a 94+ setup allowing you to do EASY programming

My camera doesn't have the best resolution so it doesn't do it justice but I'll post one up anyways. Don't have the tire's mounted since the truck took a crap w/ the water pump. :( Got to tackle that in the next wk or 2.

So let me see your pics! :D You ever find out anything about the last PM I sent ya?
