Nothing new here just me asking for some more good advice once again.... I have no clue which direction to take my car next.... As you can read in many other sections I am either looking into doing my hedders and computer tunning next or a suspension kit??? What I really want is my car to go faster...But I would also like it to handle a little better I want to get both areas done soon I just don't know which one to start with..... Any comments or suggestions are welcome!!!

I suggest putting headers on first. It is a signifficant power increase, but a pain in the ass to install. Just make sure to protect those plug wires from the heat. Save a lot of agrevation.

I'm still looking into the hedders I want to get... still waiting to hear back from George (some guy he knows want's to sell a pair)... but I was also looking at the BBK's like what you have... they have a good price and don't look to shabby... hey Dave what type of tape did you get for your hedders... I was looking around and I found some 2" X 50' for $36.00 in a Summit catalog......

I think that's what brand I was looking at.... are they $#^&* because you put them on afterwards... or due to the actual making of them...aka just crappy stuff?

I would be VERY cautious about using header tape on a daily driver. Especially a LT1 powered car. I know a few people that have lost LT1 cars because of header tape.
The LT1 cars have the infamous oil leak, oil gets on the tape and the next thing you know you have a fire.
Tom Byrne was one person that lost his Super Charged LT1.
Just a word of caution.

Listen to Jamey, it can happen, also the tape does ugly things to the pipes underneath.
As far as mods, I'm not scientific at all. I drew up on paper (seems like a million times) the car I wanted to own, figured out what parts it would take, then started buying them as I could afford them. I'm not close to finished still (and probably wont ever be) but I'm closer now, than 2 years ago.
I drove my car stock for 5 years, it makes you learn to use what you have already. With that said, I think suspension makes the most sense as a starting point. No sense making more power, that you are just going to waste in chassis flex or wheel spin.

I couldn't agree more, I'd start with the suspension mods.
Buy a package from BMR with SFCs, STB, LCAs, LCA Brackets, and a PHR. If you are really going to get serious, get the trackpak too (it comes with SFCs).

Brakes 1st IMO. Because the car is already fast. I learned the hard way and almost lost the car because I hopped it up 1st (bolt ons) and neglected the brakes.
Suspension 2nd. BMR has some good stuff and affordable!
