just spouting off, but do you think the Hotcam is the best blower cam choice? I would think Comp/Crane/Lunati/... would have better blower choices. Might cost you another $70 or so, but if your gonna be a bear, get a custom grind and be a grizzly

Of those choices what would be the best for the SC? I haven't done much to the engine of my car. I have been trying to read up on the rebuild and I want to do it how It will stay so Its all or nothing now.
You got any part #'s on those cams???

Thanx for the reply.

You know if your going with a blower, a LT1 intake would be better and half the money of a Superam. Just go to http://www.thirdgen.org and look for John Millican, he converted a LT1 intake to our L98. If you send him a LT1 intake, he'll mod it for you for $200. Just a thought.

you'll want a cam with very near near stock over lap , early exhaust valve closing, no more than about 250 degrees advertise duration , valve lift keep it sane . Basically the stock LT4 cam specs or the stock LS1 specs are in the ball park for a good blower cam.
