Pardon me if that´s a dumb question: It looks like my seatbelts don´s work as expected...

I was thinking that by pulling them really quick the lock (that holds me back in the case of an accident) would, yeah lock the belts. But nothing.

Not on the top, not on the bottom end, both sides.

Now i was wondering if they only lock if the "forward motion" of the car stops, like in the crash-situation or if i have to remove and check them...

Any info would help...

They should lock when you pull them hard. Maybe you didn't pull them hard enough and if you think that you did then they are probably malfunctioning.

That is true if they have mechanical inertia reels in them. The next step is to see if there is an electrical wire going to them . If it is then, Go ahead and do a sudden deceleration action with the brakes. That is basically the best and funnest test there is for that. You don't have to go to fast for this to work.

Sorry dude, but that wouldn't buy mods. I would require enough money to buy the mods I want.

:( That´s not fair....

Just fitted the new 245/50 last week...

Couldn´t use them anyway: Only 16x7 allowed (german papers)...

But it was fun to work the old tires: http://www.deltateam.de/html/burnout_2004.htm

So i´ll spend the money for disneyland: Image

And NO: The engine didn´t burn... Looks better than the white spots where the color left the hood...

BTW: My wife hates that car, it was hard to get the "ok" for the new tires... And money is always a concern...
