Hi,
Does anyone have suggestions on what to check? It's a '91 with a 305, TBI and automatic.
The car starts and runs very rich. It will then cut out after 2-3 minutes and is hard to restart. The problem started after we put new plugs and wires on the car.
There are no codes, the EGR is working and we tried a different MAP sensor.
Thanks,
Dan

Plugs may be gapped wrong possibly. Or too hot or too cold a plug if you didn't use the exact plug as before.

If that is alll you did. I would be looking at the plug wires to ensure that there on firmly and correctly. Also ensure that you did'nt damage a plug wire bypulling it off by the wirre it self.
