Who offers that package? Would the axle swap out or do I need to make major mods? JAZ

The pieces for the 1le option you wouldhave to order seperately through the cheapest chevy dealer, or if by chance you found a wrecked 1LE third gen.
As for the axle swap, I believe Randy did it on his blue convertable . He will have more info on that install.

The rear end swap was a direct bolt on! So far Ive had no problems with the master cylinder, or prop. valve. They have the same part # as a factory equiped 3rd gen with discs. I would go for the Baer brake upgrade over the 1LE. The Baer's have a 13 inch rotor where the 1LE is a 11.5 or 12 inch I believe. Plus the Baer's rotors are thicker too. They just came out with a kit that uses the C-5 front brake cailpers. Check it out. http://www.baer.com I believe.

If you go to my links site in my sig, there are a bunch of salvage yard that specialize in F-Body parts. I bet you could find what you needed there much cheaper than buying new.

Jaz, when I first got here to Germany, I had a drum brake rear end with 2.73 posi rear and a 305 TPI. I knew a guy in my company who rolled his 91 Z28. Thats where I got the disc rear end with 3.23 posi and the L98, for 500 bucks. I bought the 94 Z28 and put it the rear from that in my car so I wouldent have to use spacers to mount up 4th gen rims in the rear, plus it had 3.42 gears and a much tighter posi than my older one. A guy in my company with a 92 RS bought my old disc rear from me for 200 bucks. If I come across another disc rear, Ill let you know.
