Born about 22 years ago, heart transplant date/time unknown (born with a 305, now w/ 350), air suckin', Autobahn eatin' mean machine ... only dared to push her to 190km/h due to some necessary technical checks and repairs (you really don't want to go that fast with brakes you don't trust ...). Had no problem pulling from my BMW ...

Also, got some videos of a little joyriding at the Fulda Sickels airfield ... they'll be up soon ... maybe tonight ...

P.S. - Robin, I'll get you a list of parts I might need soon ... definitely want a new trunk cover (possibly with the part that's between the trunk and the window ...), and might need a complete interior .. :)

Would be easy - with the way the weather is, I'd probably bring the 2nd gen ... anyway, several reasons more or less rule it out ...

- I'm not too confident with some of the tech specs - especially the brakes ... car pulls some to the left, and faded quite a bit when "playing" on the air field ...
- it don't look too pretty yet ... better shape than the others I looked at, but still no show quality (OK, there were worse cars in Nürnberg, but ...)
- the seats aren't that comfortable for sleeping in ... :)
- no stereo!

and mainly:

- no insurance, no license plate, and no time to get either before Saturday ...

Anyway, maybe for the O:SL race day if we should get that set up ... show you 4th gen V8s what a 22 year old car can do ... :-burnout:
