A 1969 Chevelle Malibu with all kinds of options from the factory like 12-bolt, th400, ss disc brakes (one piston) but the nice confortable old bench seat. I know it is not a f-body but still a Chevy.   And a original export from Austria since 69 with all paperwork and here is the pic of it of 69:

Here are actual pics, I got it in the garage yesterday. I know it looks like crap right now fully disassembled and the garage looks untidy, but I am still in the process of cleaning up and trying to find places to put stuff. Stuttgarts garages are so tiny small. Here are the pics. The pedals I am showing the original disk brake emblem, the dash shows the original astro ventilation.

the body is in good shape like the cowl has just about no rust but the trunk and some floor pieces have to be replaced. Like always new front fender patch panels also. here are more pics.

Yes propably a big block. HMMM a 427 clone or a 396SS i will have to see but tend to make it a 427 yenko clone. (also those bbc from the sixtees are raising in price also.)The only problem is getting an engine here in germany and shipping from the states is not cheap also). I will let you know when I get new bushings,... and then I will need to clean,e.t.c. the frame. Does somebody know how much podercoating an entiry frame costs? (or an lt1 ls1 hmmm modern chevelles still debaiting)

Well I got the body off the frame and starting to derust the frame. (ill will post some pics as soon as I have time). I checked the rear end and it still has the original 2,56 posi in it which is good.

Just wanted you guys let you know the progress.

Well the frame is back from sandblasting looks cool. I got some primer on it for now so it doesnt rust. Now the welding part comes. The frame needs 3-4 small weld ya know in the back and then where the body mount sits. Also the BMR suspension finally came in with new front upper and lower a-arms, rear upper and lower control arms(adjt.) new front sway bar and rear extreme drag race sway bar, new control arms reinforcement braces and a driveshaft safety loop. Also the LS1 conversion brackets came in just waiting for the right hub yet. And a rebuild kit for the stock rear end from motive gear is also here. Now I guess it is on me with weldng and getting the frame all primed and painted. I am still debating and saving for new springs and shocks. For right now I am planning Strage street and strip 10 way adjustable shocks with Hotchkiss one inch drop springs.

So what ya guys think? Does it sound good? Oh yeah of course its gonna look pretty stock when I am done so I can shock thoose little Porsche drivers here in Germany.

Uh that depends on a lot of stuff but maybe next year. I am still looking for an engine and a 6-speed, 4L80E or 4L60E. It just takes time and money. (whereas the time is not the problem  )
