Hi
I HAVE A 2.8 L MPI , prod. year 1987.
During the first production years (1982-85) of the 2.8 L V6 (3rd gen) they made them with a 2bbl carburetor system . Is is possible to change the MPI system into a carburetor system ?? Is it enough if u change the intake manifold and add a carb , or is the bottem of the engine/engine block different? I know that the electrical wiring will be completely different and the ECM will have to go . Is this transformation possible at all?
