Just got back from Denmark, and didn't get a chance to take a look at any new replies to the question: should I go with the 2 1/2" or 3" Cat? My Pacesetter Headers are a 2 1/2 and the Cat-Back System is a 3". Where should I put the pipe converter? Thanks for your help.

use your cat to convert. use a 2.5"cat and put a 3" piece coming off the cat to the intermediate pipe.

Will I have to do any work before the cat, like you had mentioned before. I do plan on doing this with buddies that have worked on exhaust before, but I just want to have a clear picture of what's in store. Thanks for your help.
