Does anyone have a decent photo of the front of their V6 that could give me a good indication where and how these flippin' brackets bolt on? I bought this car with the engine in boxes and have no f-n idea what goes where.

I know how to fix this:
step one: open GM parts catalog, order new crate engine. (the LS1 would be cool but it's $$$$, the 330hp for under $3K would be a good start  )
step two: while waiting for the crate to come in, remove old V6 and sell on ebay.
step three: upgrade fuel system and other parts. (diff, tranny, etc)
step four: install engine and "re-pave" the street in front of your house.
step five: buy new tires
Hope that this helps
Sorry for being a smart ass.

The ironic thing about what you said is that that is pretty much what the guy I bought it from wanted to do...it would have been more beneficial if it had been a V8 car to begin with. I just want to sell it...
