Not very clear, but all changes are listed
http://60degreev6.com/view.php?pg=familytree
Basically the 2.8l, 3.1l, 3.4l is the same engine, just with different bore/stroke/heads but the same block.
What year is the 2.8 and the 3.1?
3.4 to LT1 is like ripping out everything, buying a V8 seems a bit easier.

I would even drop a 4,3 V6 in it before another 3,1-3,4 just more potential and its a 90 degree V6 not a 60 degree.

Dropping in a 4.3 is as much work as putting in a LT1, if not even more as it was never meant to be in that car.
And what make's a 90° V6 better than a 60° V6, just out of interest?

Well lets put it this way the 4,3 v6 is an unbeatable engine (great on power versus wheight and never breaks runs forever) The 3,4 is known for the intake leak(interbnal) problem and it wont turn to many rpm. Also more clearance from top to bottom but wider. Also I heard a 4,3 with dual 40 flowmaster and it sounds mor like a V8. About the 60 and 90 degree I just prefer the 90 degrees better.

But what's the difference, just the wideness?

Well there is a 90degree angle between the two cylinder banks or a 60 degree angle. in a boxer engine its 180 degrees thats why the boxer is so wide. It like straight.

the year of my 2L8 is the year of the car, 1988 but the year of the 3L1 is 1991. i don't install a V8 for the moment because i must make the french paper for the car, he's going to the luxembourg but in 3/4 years , a conversion for a ls1 or a ls6 is not impossible
for the moment i would like a car for cruising, juste cruising, i have a 74 camaro in restoration

I found a thread on thirdgen.org saying the swap should be easy. The thread is mostly useless, so I won't link it.
You could keep your intake and other parts to keep it simple.

why bother if you plan on putting an LSx in 9 months later?
