I finally installed the PD SC on the car, and I am not seeing ANY boost on the gauge at all. It's hooked up correctly, I am reading a vacume, yet nothing at all even @ 4k on the tach. What RPM do you begin to see boost at?

Also, I hooked up a hand held vacume / pressure device ( I forget the name of it ) and I am reading boost on the gauge as well as the TRC-1 timing retard light comes on when I do it manually. Yet with it hooked up in the car, I see nothing. No boost or timing retard at all. Im also taking the reading just before the butterflys @ the throttle body. There should be SOMETHING there...right?

Whats the deal?

Can you tell if you are getting in discharge air out of the supercharger?

Do you have a compressor bypass valve installed? If so it may not be working right or installed incorrectly.

No valve installed. And there was discharge air comming out of the unit when I spun the head unit before install.

On the Auto X-ray, I was showing a pressure of 1.4 lbs. Yet nothing on the timing retard or the gauge. It does go up, --shows less vac. -- yet not into boost when you hit the throttle and get the RPM's up and running.

It is kinda hard to trouble shoot from afar . But Iwill give it the list.

1. Inlet is restricted
2. compressor belt is slipping
3. Crank pulley is loose
4. compressor discharge tube is restricted or loose
5. If it is a powerdyne, doesn't it have a kevlar belt that is internal to the supercharger,if so it may be slipping.
6. The compressor discharge may be going downthe PCV or other emission device hose . That is if it is plumbed into the compressor discharge tube.
This is all i can think of for now . Best bet would be to go over the install install instructions another time.
