hi,

I have a question about my 2001 3.8V6 Camaro
In the Netherlands the Euro 95 is going (2011) to be mixed with 10% ethanol, called Euro 95-E10
You can already buy this fuel in Germany,

Can my Camaro drive on these Euro 95-E10 ?,
i can't find any information, and if call the importeur, they don't know nothing about about real American Cars, just Daewoo's
the technical documentaion says RON91 for the V6 and RON95 for the LS1

Probably not ... E10 will most likely tear up the rubber gaskets ... Germany was supposed to start selling the E10 fuel, but due to the rather high percentage of cars that can not use it, will continue to sell the old E5 super ... (which, though cheaper in production due to the high cost of the Ethanol, and higher energy density, will most likely be increased in price to keep E10 cheaper ... blood suckers ...).
You should be able to get a definite info from your local Opel/Chevrolet dealer ...

I guess you shouldn't have any problems as in the US E10 isn't a new thing. It's been there for years. However, I will still not fill up my car with it (I use E5 Super or Super Plus).
