Looking for a CD player for my '96 Camaro. Just a stock one will do as long as it works fine. Don't have the $ right now for better. Just want something other than my cassette.

I may be able to help you.

I have for sale a SONY X-Plod MP30 (4x50watt) system for sale. (6 montsh old cost £310.00 brand new

Plays MP3 discs, CD-R discs, CD-RW discs. Removable front panel.

Also includes wiring adapter for a 4th Gen and facia conversion kit for a 4th gen. The system is still boxed and ready to slot in! Cost £45.00

I fitted the kit to my Trans-Am but my wife moaned on about how she missed the steering wheel controls, so I took it out and bought an original CD system. (see the other post in this forum!) I am led to believe that you can buy a steering wheel control adapter...but I can't be arsed with that.

I cannot take less than £150 UK plus shipping. If you are interested, email me, and I'll email you a few pictures of it fitted in my car. It is very nice.

Just a little tip

If you change your OEM-Radio with Steering Wheel Control you better look for a Radio with IR-Control like my Pioneer 1.5 DIN DEH-P77DH or Radios from other manufactures with this option. Then you can use your Steering Wheel Control with the Aftermarket Radio.

In my case I simply bought the SWI-X Universal Steering Wheel Radio Control Interface from PAC ( http://www.pac-audio.com/ ) for a Amount of 40 Dollar

The build-in and programming took only 20 minutes and I can use all of my buttons for there original destination. Also you are able to programm special radiofunctions to every single button you prefer.
