mp3-Support. Did anyone know anything about it?

I know that it give any Kenwood etc. Car-Hifi Systems with mp3,.. but what give it else?... anything special in a US.Format Radio like the Camaro System?? At the best with the build in CD-changer...
it's a good thing....

Thanks for Infos...

GM does not have one... Your best bet is to buy one of the Kenwood or other brand with cd changer. You can also buy an adapter with your stock steering wheel controls if you have them......

I doubt there are any available in the US size - you'll have to get an adapter to use the regular ISO size...

Sergio has the Kenwood Excelon that supports MP3s. Email him and ask. I installed my Kenwood. Maybe you can check it out, and see what you think.

Yes I know.. normaly I will buy DIN-Radio but I mean than the bigger US-Format has more Place for the technical things.
Or not??

Also my Free-Speaking Device in mounted on the right side of the Radio-Screwes ;-) it looks good any there is no Hole or
other Damage on the car...

But it's right.. A German Guarante is better as no Guarante in the States;-(

The Camaro-Radio has anything like a Theftlock-II System..
What is with them if the Radio is not in the Car?... Or is it
no Problem? I don't know if only the Radio is protected with it or anything else on the car too??

There are anythings like the Auto Speed-Volume at the original Radio... and other Cables.. what is with it?

has anyone A Tip for me for a good Car Hifi System for the Camaro with a good Sound, 12x CD-Changer with the newest features include mp3, Cassette Player on the Radio???

Kenwood??

But no Sony.. i had something before any years.. it was immediadely defect ;-)

THX

Andreas

Some people run a small computer based MP3 player and keep their stock radio..... That is the other option...

The anti theft is in the radio only - if you either reset the lock to "0000", or don't have it set at all (no blinking light when ignition is off), you don't have to worry about it ... otherwise, once you put it back in the car and power it up, just enter the code and you should be fine ...

Good question - maybe Jaz can shed some light ... I was looking into a replacement for a while, but with as little as I drive the car, I just got me a CD player with Casette adapter ... :)

The light is here I am running a JVC mp3 player in mine now. Just swap out the factory head unit with a aftermarket mp3 player. If you have the monsoon system I can get steering wheel adaptors (Thank's George). It will play normal CD's and mp3's. 90 to 110 song's on one cd who need's a changer. JAZ

Hi,...

thanks for the infos at all...

Yesterday I've been making a look on the Kenwood Website,
I've found a pair mp3-CD CD-Receiver with Changer Steering.
One nice Radio was the Kenwood KDC-MP6090R, who is based on the old 6090 Model. It looks fine, the price is good too;-(

But who can answer a question about this?? I read that the Receiver himself can play a mp3-CD on his build in CD-Device.
But there is no word about a mp3-CD in a CD-Changer???
I think, if i buy me a mp3-CD Radio with a external Changer, it should
be play this format too. egally if one CD is enough musik for anybody.

Is the Stock GM/Delco Changer compatible to other Radios?
It look like a Sony...??

Andreas
