Hey Jaz,
Do you guys sell dynamat, or know where I can get a good deal on some. I have heard it helps cut down on some of the exhaust resonance and makes the stereo sound better, so I am thinking about putting some in my car.

Let me know.. It will be some good stuff to keep the loudmouth outside....

You can also pull all of you door panels and carpet and spray the black undercoating. It deadens the sound really well. I did it to my 4runner and it worked great.. It is a little messy until dry..

also adds some much "needed" weight to the car.

Definatelly helps cut Db's down, but then again. If a person chooses to put on a loud exhaust, well......?

Summit caries it BTW, and Summit = free shipping.

That was my other plan, but like you say you have to wait till it's dry to put back together and I don't have a garage. Basement full of tools, but no garage.

Pull the interior carpet and door panels. Put them in the basement. Spray the whole car. If it is not dry and you need to drive just put in your seat....

I think summit was cheaper than crutchfield... but crutchfield has slightly faster and cheaper shipping. Just some FYI.

I have acumat made by EFX it is lighter and much easier to work with than dynomat. Trust me I have done enough trunk's to know. I also have spray on sound dampining that work's great but it cost a little more it's alot more work for me. The regular acumat is two layers together one foam and one rubber and it is super light so if your worried about weight I would go with that. JAZ

Jaz, what's the pricing on that stuff, and do you have to put it in, or can we just buy it and do it ourselves???

George the loudmouth is a resonance frequency problem. You either have to cancel the frequency or change it. I find that no.3 steel wool stuff up the pipe really worrks as a temporary fix . About 4 biscuits of the stuff work for me.
