It wouldn't have mattered on that race. I forgot I had ASR on and it automatically forces the throttle back. That's why I am thinking I may need the reversal switch.

Found the Spec stage 3 on Fast Toys for $528. Has anyone ordered from them before? If they are good I will order it from them.

Do a search on cz28 or ls1.com, I have not ordered from them, but I have not heard bad.

Well they e-mailed me back. They said they recommend the stage 3 kevlar clutch for what I have planned in the future. They also said that the clutches ship directly from STAR so they are checking if they will ship to an APO. I will find out tomorrow. Hopefully be able to order it before the weekend. Wonder if it will be here by the x-mas week off. That would be a good time to put it in.

On a side note the guy I am dealing with said he also has a camaro. He has a LS1 and a 6 psi PowerDyne SC on it. He said he ran 12.8 before the SC, but he hasn't made it back to the track since he put the SC on it. He told me he is running the stage 3 kevlar himself and is very happy with it. Of course he get's paid to say that though.

yeah, but I somehow doubt it will make it. I should have my plugs by hten and I will intall them and mess around with the exhaust then also. I pulled the MAF screen out last night. So that's one less thing to get done. So much to do so little time and money.

So you are installing plugs also? Remember side step a stage 3 clutch with traction and you could have more expensive problems.

Yeah, I would guess the plugs are the original ones that came with the car, so I figure they could use a changing.

Expensive sucks. Is the rear end weak?

Krazy it is if you have traction and a stage 3 clutch.

Plugs do very little for performance unless you are sniffing crack then cooler is better they prevents detonation and the need for a new engine!!!

If you keep your stock gears, throw a TA Girdle with stud kit on your car you should be fine. There are plenty people running 1.5 60fts on stock 10 bolts....... Just strengthen what you have. Keep the stock gears as they are thicker..

I ordered them from AutoZone actually. Over the web. Only place I could find them for a good price. I found NGK at another place, but they wanted $9.80 per plug. No thanx. Like Hawk said as long as the plugs are working good then new plugs or different aren't going to help anything. Unless you are running nitrous or boost and then you want to run copper and 1-2 steps colder to prevent detenation. Do not run that platinum crap with boost or nitrous, they detenate a lot easier.
