Cleaning all my loose parts for the time being just wondering if it's safe to clean the IAC w/ carb cleaner?
Probably wind up buying a new MAP sensor and IAC since those are the only things left used from the new engine.

Sorry John, I cant remember what I read about cleaning it, but the carb cleaner sounds about right.

Besides, its not a really pricey piece, just replace. If only so you can be completely reborn.

Can't think what an IAC is but I read you shouldn't clean the wires inside the MAF with anything like that. I only posted just in case it was anything to do with that. If not, ignore this.

go get some Berrymans spray from Autopride on Vogelweigh.
Carb cleaner does not cut the carbon buildup nearly as well. When I clean my IAC I soak it in Berrymans for a few hours and then blow out w/ air. Works really well. Dries super fast too. I also use it to clean my intake tract from time to time using a fogger setup we have at the shop to spray it into the TB. I love that stuff.
