Sometimes I turn the radio off and listen to the engine sing @6000+. Another good tune is downshifts at 5000 also when you heel toe which is the dance I do to that tune.

Bruce Springsteen's absolutely brilliant "Racing In The Streets" which starts "I've got a 69 Chevy with a 396, fuelie heads and a Hurst on the floor" and mentions the Camaro in the line "I blew that Camaro off my back and blew that little girl away". You already have Wishlist. You could check out Sammy Hagar's "Trans Am" but it's pretty dire. For general American cars, try "Detroit 442" by Blondie which has nothing to do with any car although it should by rights, "Shiny Shiny Pimpmobile" by East River Pipe (don't buy it though)and "Eldorado" by Tragically Hip (a terrific album to boot). T.Rex did a track called Mustang Ford and Cadilac (with one L).I would also recommend Survivor's "Chevy Nights" available on their Greatest Hits CD. If you've got a black car, you can hammer out Black On Black by Heart which has driving refeerences in it ( I think..or was that a different track)

Ok, got like 11 songs and a couple sound bites on this CD, and it is only just over 40 mins. Thank you all for the suggestions, especially to Rampage who suggested audiogalaxy.com. I am working on the labels now. Anyone think it would be in bad taste to use the FBE logo on it? If anyone wants a list of songs let me know.

I see how it is, I didn't want you to use my selection of bands anyways.

Sorry, but I did download a couple of Godsmack albums, and although it was good driving music, the nice people of Godsmack didn't mention any F-bodies.
This is what I used:
1. Blue Meanies - Camaro Man
2. Pearl Jam - Wishlist
3. Sir Mix-a-lot - Rippin'
4. The Dead Milkmen - Bitchin' Camaro
5. Couch - Camaro
6. The Firm - Affirmative Action
7. Wheatus - Teenage Dirtbag
8. Leroy - Trans Am
9. Nelly - EI
10. Roger Taylor - Racing in the Streets
11. Sammy Hagar - Trans Am
I am still looking for more songs though, I still have 30 mins left on the CD. I am going through the Smokey & the Bandit Soundtrack looking for something about a car, not those damn trucks. Well there you go.

Here are two more:
Shocore - Camaro Mania(c)?
Goes something like Hear the sweet 350 roar...
And of course:
If you got the dinero, i´ve got the camaro, don´t ask from who, kinda like folk music.

So do you have that other song that you were talking about? What is the album or maybe a name of the song. Sounds like something that I could add to the CD. If you have it on CD bring it on the 3rd to the meet. Downloading that Shocore song now.

I got it from the net also... it's going on the CD. I never noticed that they said that. I can't even count how many times I have heard that song.

Hi RT.
It´s from the Texas Tornados and the song is called "If you´ve got the dinero"
On Audiogalaxy best search for Dinero or Texas Tornados.
Hope that helps.

Thanks there R@MaLamADingDONg. What's all that about? You that bored at work? But anyway, I will add that to the list also. I think that should do it for the first volumn of the F-Body Music CD. Got to thank you again for showing me that audiogalaxy. I like it alot, and now my wife is even downloading stuff. Got to get to burning.
