I got this thing made. I like it, I think it's a good way to get the word out.
Hope this works

I like it, but I'd choose a different font!! ;) Nice initiative!

Yeah, the font looks "different" from what I envisioned, but I like it now. Grabs people's attention. If more people are willing to put one on, we could come up with a official design.

If it could be designed different that would be sweet. I'm not one for banners but I would rock it just for publicity sake!

Robin, what did you pay for it? I could check with the guy who did the stripes on my 'vert ... he's got his own plotter to do stuff like that, I could probably get them pretty cheap (he charged me DM 40,- for the stripes ...). He can take just about any input format, so Corel Draw or similar would work fine ...

I think it was around DM 50, maybe cheaper. I got it made in October. I decided to get rid of the "Ground Zero Racing" after 9/11. That was the name for a club in Schweinfurt with American V8 powered cars, not make or model specific.

I am not much for banners but that is great advertising! For those of us who wouldnt want a banner, what about a vinyl sticker about 8" long and 2" high or so? They would be hella cheaper and we could put them on the bottom of the rear window or where ever you choose? All we would have to do was make a design, vote on it and have them made. Charge each member and put the profit into the club. I would be more interested in one of these than a banner. What do you all think?

Jeff

I checked with one of our local places about printing stickers (I asked about 3inch round for the FBE logo) - they were nuts, even with 1000 printed, they were going to charge about 50c per piece, plus setup fee ... I'll check with he guy from the stripes, and another place ...

I agree with Jeff, I'm not to sure I want to put a huge banner across my window..... but I don't mind advertiseing for the club. I just don't like really big stickers... just makes me think of Honda Crap!!!! Just my .02

Checked another place today, they quoted me about €120 for some 300 stickers, but not cut ...

Robin, I think it's tastefully done. It's not like it covers half the windshield!! :)
