I raced my daily driver up at sembach last drags,(mopar not finished yet) just for tree experience and i must say I suprised more than a few!
To make a long story short my god damn POS Toyota Corolla 1.6L 16v(200,000miles) put a waxing on several cars that day. Including several Civics and for all you sad chevy fans...I won the 60 foot race against a mal-tuned early 70's tubbed & roots blown camaro!
dont get sad...sometimes the camaros just cant hang with the 90hp toyotas!
Mopar or no car...

But you did not win the trophy. That was my Toyota Corolla 1.3L 12V and only 74 hp...
So why did you not win the race since you had the better Corolla?
I don't think that any Corolla can put up with any Camaro, Mustang or others... sometimes it is just luck!
I think I remember you, wasn't your Dad with you on that day? You were the one signed up after seeing me racing my car.
BTW: I bought myself a Camaro, I only race the Corolla for fun when the 'maro doesn't run for whatever reason...

didnt win because the car was too inconsistant...only had 3 trial runs...couldnt guess ET in only 3 runs. Car got progressivly quicker from low 11's in the 1/8 to mid 10's.
Looking forward to taxing you fools like french tolls when the Mopar hits the streets! oh and by the way the lady driving the other corolla was quite consistant but no props because if I recall it is an automatic!

Wanna grudge!!! run I will crush you with a 5 sec headstart. I am sure I could have some problems with tirespin however if we line up and go heads up that is where the quickest car wins.

It is not the car beeing inconsistant, it is the driver!
I only did 3 trial runs also, because I had to watch my 5 year old daughter and had to hunt for my timeslips myself since I did not have anybody to help.
And then... I'm a women. Women do not have a clou what they are doing around cars.
BTW: No automatic, my Corolla has a stick!
(Maybe that's why I like it so much... ooohhh )

I applaud you on your trophey, and apologize for thinking the 1.3 corolla was an automatic. I was dissapointed that I never got to race you because you refuesed to! You always wanted to race the slow v6 truck, although you did well I am afraid if we raced heads-up I would have to half-track you.
As for Hawk: "Wanna grudge!!! run I will crush you with a 5 second headstart. I am sure I could have some problems with tirespin however if we line up and go heads up that is where the quickest car wins."
...............Yeah thanks, I think I know what a god damn "heads-up" race means...I'm sad you think you can "crush" me so easy. I believe your STOCK WS6 should only run about a...low 13 to mid 12 in the quarter, but we will see at bitburg!

Thanks for one and sorry for the other. But as said, I did not run many time trials. And since Chevy and I had the slowest cars I took the chance to train him on how to race
- with good result as you can see. I am more proud of him making the third than for myself making first.

You talk a lot of smack for guy that can't dial his car in three runs. Reality check, the most you will ever get is 3 dial in runs to dial in your car. Hundreds of newbie firstimers do it every year and with great success. Is it a number thing or something ?
Ever heard of sandbagging or brake pedal dragracing when your car is inconsistent.
Somebody please rate my smack typing.

Thats right Roy at a normal Drag Race they give you three Qualifing runs and then you need to say right away your dial-in.I mean thats the good part at osl.You can practice and race so much that you want. And thanx squirellina you helped me out a lot an trained me at sembach.I think without your help i would lose again in first round. And im happy that you kicked some asses with your Stock 74horses Toyota last year. And everybody who said that this is not fair is for me just a bad losser. So Mopar are you coming to Bitburg too. What car you drive than in bitburg the toyota or mopar.
Peace Michael
