 Post subject: Not really a kill, but funny

Well, I finally got my crack purge hooked up and working. It is a single nozzle exiting the cowl near the passenger wiper in the middle of the windshield. I took the car out just for the hell of it and left the bottle open.

Well, I come up to a traffic light next to a riced out eclipse. The over sized aluminum wing, altezza tail lights and a fart pipe. He looks over at me, starts revving his engine and nodding at me. So just to se what reaction I get off him, I just purged the nitrous. The look on the guys face was shear terror. He stopped revving his engine and when the light went green, he sat there waiting for me to go. He limped off with his tail between his legs. Beat up on some poor ricer and didn't even have to race him!

That is pretty funny I should buy nitrous to purge around town. Did you have achance to do the 1/8 or 1/4 yet?

Yep, been out a couple times on the quarter. I have traction issues running street tires that are worn. I got some track bite and will see if that helps next time I am out. I run consistant 13.4 on the motor, with 2.2* 60' times. Then on the bottle running about a 90shot, I was running 12.60, with a 2.1* 60' time, but breaking traction on all shifts. So if I can get the traction sorted out, I should be better. Also I have shifter problems. Foctory hurst short throw blows!!!
I also dynoed last weekend. 326 RWHP and 341 RWTQ on the motor and 453 RWHP and 534 RWTQ on a 150 shot. The torque curve for the nitrous was messed up. They said it was due to spark blow out caused by my plugs being gapped too wide. They said I am loosing about 10 - 15 HP from that as the car stutters a little bit on that shot. I will get it fixed.
