Well I called SPEC and they are going to send me thier stage 3 carbon. They said they put it in 9 sec. cars and no problems. But then again I ripped the centerforce in half and it holds against 1000 hp cars

The main thing I wanted was a clutch disk that is not of stock design. SPEC makes all thiers in house. I got the new six wing design, and a pilot bearing. I hope to get up bright and early saturday and make the drive to Bitburg to fix it. They said I need a 500 mi break in and it will chatter during that time and stop once its broken in. I hope to have 500 mi on it by next Bitburg. I hope I will not have guard also (keep me in your prayers)! lol

Jeff

Bout the same as you. Actually, when I broke the centerforce, it was slower. This SLP was only 4 months old.

Yes, the stripes must stay alive!

Salverson, you tell that guy to call me?

I'm sure the carbon works/feels real close to the kevlar one, 'cept its alittle more radical. I really like my stage 3, it should be exactly what your used to.

I tore through a centerforce in a year also. Not very much racing on it either. I went to the stage III also and I am very happy with it.

I hope you get that clutch fixed so I can have the honor or running against your F1 again. Hopefully I will be able to make it to bitburg in August.

I'm looking for a clutch as well and it looks like Centerforce is the wrong way to go since no one is having any luck with them.

The stage 3 kevlar. You cant slip it anymore, its either engaged or not. Great holding power, and as an added bonus you cant smell the kevlar smoking :).
