Hello,

I'm new to this forum.
Right now I'm living in Michigan, USA and driving a '97 Z28.
When I return to Germany I want to bring my Camaro with me. Does anyone has experience with the 94-97 Camaro and the German TÜV? Especially regarding necessary modification and Flowmaster mufflers.

Here are some pics of my Camaro:

Welcome to the board!
TÜV might be a problem - depending on where/who you go to, they may bitch about every little detail ... :( I guess you just have to try ... apart from the mufler, you can expect complaints about the headlights (non adjustable), mirrors (won't fold), head rests (non adjustable) ...

Is your car US spec? Are you in the military? If so there won't be any problems w/ bringing your car. But since you mentioned TUV it may be a little difficult. I'm not the expert though but someone around can help I'm sure.

Hey Mazer if you are not in the military I know a damn good mechanic but he is on the mosel river in a town called Zell and he specializes in amaerican motors/cars. He's da man!! He will do conversions for your car. You need the T/a seats for the adjustable headrests, foglights in your rear bumper, adjusable headlights with euro lights(indicators)side reflectors/signal light (by Z28 sign)in front, foldable mirrors(tight streets),and maybe the seatbelts and brakes. I would still bring it.If you have a base job you can register you car on the base itself.
