Raced a Stang Conv. then on the other end Stang guys said F-Bodies should just race F-Bodies. Then a 35th Aniversary Stang didn't want to play (WS6 too fast). Told me I should race something else, cause it wouldn't be much of a race. It was a great last time for the WS6 (13.8/102mph).

Yeah, when I went to the track, there was a very clean Mustang Cobra circa 1996. It looked really nice but when I got talking to him, he was telling me how he was running low 15's. I told him my standard times, his face drained and comprehension vanished. I don't think his times got any better as it spent most of the day parked up after that. I actually like getting my butt kicked as it gives me that drive to go and do something else to the car.

Some people are just sore losers. It's for the fun nothing else. Win or loose I'm having fun that's all that matters.
Better luck next time.

Exactly. What do the owners of 94-98 fords expect, that is the lean years of the new/old fox4. Lusifer if your running 13.8's then it is perfectly inline for a 96 snake to run 15's. The first year of the modular sucked bad, and only dynoed about 230-240rwhp.

And a vert 35th?! He had no business expecting to win.

The 99-up GT's are a 50/50 either way of beating a LT1, and the 01 snakes are dead even with the LS1's. Other than those years they shouldnt expect anything less than a butt whippin'.

I just read a article about the fastest street driven 5.0 in England, you want his name and address? Maybe he will give you a challenge :).

Somehow, I haven't seen to many 'stangs at the OSL races ... handful ... also, I don't remember seeing _any_ at the later stages of the elimination runs ... old bugs, F-bodies all the time, imports - lots of. But 'stangs ...

- May - 1.st & Overall Camaro, 2nd Bug, 3rd Import
- July - 1st & Overall 1st Gen Camaro, 2nd Bug, 3rd VW Golf
- August - A-Class - 1st & 2nd Bug, 3rd Firebird (Bruce)
B-Class - got to look at the pics
C-Class - 1st Import, 2nd Camaro, 3rd ?

(OK, it's a shame we didn't have an F-Body winner this time. Would be nice to have 'em three times in a row ... anyway, we're up there ...)
