I am pretty sure I sent it to the e-mail you list in your profile. Anywho, I have a 2-DIN that I want to put in my 95 Camaro. I was wondering if this is posible, and if there was an install kit for it?

Jack, I just like it. I don't like the one I have now. When it flips over for the security face it has woodgrain. Ewwwww. Just don't look right in a Camaro. I think that the 2DIN will fill up that space, look better, (it's silver, like the car) and will go along with all the stuff I want to do to the interior. I don't like the after market filler thing that goes into a 1DIN also.

So, do you want a 2-din or a 1.5 din? I understand what you are saying, though. Why does it have wood grain? That sounds pretty gay indeed.

Well I went an bought the current one and when I got it, all you saw was the front of it. Then after putting it in the car, it fliped over, and there was the woodgrain. So I got a CF sheet from Tip-Top, or ATU, and cut it to fit. You can still see the edges coming off and wanted something different, so Paula got me this one. It is a 2DIN, it will be great. Just gotta see if it fits. I think I will test fit it in Paula's Z while she is gone. Hehehe.

Jack, you have seen those pics of that PT Cruiser that Jaz posted. I think he could make it fit. Where did Jaz go anyway? He hasn't posted back yet... JAZ?

Guys I know I am new on this board but, I really can't see a double din fitting in that hole!!! But, hey I would love to see it if someone pulls it off!
I also like double din units, too much time in Japan I suppose I opted for the alpine 1.5 unit. It works great...

I'm sure it can be done, but it would require too much modification of the dash for my liking. I prefer 1 din radios anyway. Just my opinion. There are more of them available, and they have more options.

Sorry Rob I was in the field I just got back. It can be done I would have to look at the shop catalog to see if we have a kit for it or if I would have to make one. I can make it however you want. Leather, Stainless steel, Diamond plate or whatever. I am in Korea rite now but I will be back in Feb or Mar. I dont know if you want to wait that long.

I will be leaving for the 'field' in Jan and will be back some time in Feb anyway. I would like it to look as factory as posible. If you could just look into it, that would be great. Thanks for your help.
