You must take a hard launch into consideration when it squats DS should be straight.

That was true in Bruces case because they don't tell you need to adj anything for a 9" which is false to the largest extent. You stk rear it'll go in like butter for the most part. -3 yes for the track but for day to day use -1 or -2 but that's pushing it.

Well the new TA is installed set to -2 degrees........ not to bad of an install... the only problem was getting the new bushing put in.... let's just say it took me about 2 hours and 3 sets of vise grips to get it all back together...... and it's been raining ever since so I have no clue as to how much of a difference if any it has made...... but I'll keep you all updated. Also I can't believe how many people haven't heard of a TA..... I was at the hobby shop installing it and trying to get the tools to do the job and all I got was what are you fixing??? Why are you replacing it if it's not broke? What does it do?? Well I'll keep you all informed once it dries up over here! Later all... and thanks for all of the help from everyone!

Yes you must tell us what difference it has made. I want to do mine next year.
When you query TA's on web sites like LS1.com etc, not many people can advise on them - yet i have read its the most important thing to do to keep a hold of that axle.

Jagsy I'll be going the Spohn route since I haven't heard from Unbalanced Eng. I'm just holding out for the moment and see if a GP gets started on one. They have tried so far w/ no luck in vendors but they aren't done looking yet. I'll keep ya posted if it surface's.

Well I finally got a chance to run the ride with the new TA.... and WOW what a difference! It's hard to put into words what id did for the car but it has made it alot stiffer, and before when I shifted from 1st to 2nd I felt a slight axle shift..... now all of that is gone! Well I'll see what happens when I go out to the track! Later all!

Great to hear the good news JR. I know, some of these mods are difficult to explain, but the WOW says it all.

ZBLKHELLRZR, I think I will be going Spohn too, I have only read one bad comment about the construction being with small tubes!!! I think I'll put the tunnel brace on at the same time.

This mod will be next year as I have to buy Lynne a carpet for the lounge!! So I'm still researching BMR, Random tech and SLP.

Yeah I read that post too. That's a 1st I ever hear about that but I know of a 9 sec LT1 w/ that arm and hasn't broke it yet. So until something else comes along better that's the route I'm going. I just wish the GP would get started already! I'm trying to save a buck!
