No new engine mods just tweaking suspension and putting it on a diet.

Hey Hawk can you tell me about the Nitrous System you have in your car. Also, I have found out some more information about what my mechanic did to my TA. Turns out the interceptor engine that he had put in it is gone now and replaced by a 1970 Corvette 350. Thinking about putting Nitrous or a Supercharger or Turbo Charger on it. Any thoughts or suggestions??

Tweaking huh? How do you like those HAL 12 ways? I've read that they aren't stiff enough for hard cornering even on stiffest setting. I'm sure they are awesome for drag, but do they hold up on the street?

I will let you know. It is a dry computerized system and more fuel is added by the 36 LPH injectors Kewl system. GrayTA what compression ratio is your engine now?

Hawk,
I am still unsure what compression I am running. I called my shop and have asked, but the guy who has all that info is out. I will post it as soon as I find out. I know they went with forged pistons which can handle a nitrous shot...so that much is good and I am confident it will run well...just if they would ever get done with it.

well you should find out. You should ask about your heads.
FWIW the car is going to be down a couple weeks for scheduled maintaince.
Change all oils
new plugs
new battery
clean air filters
install roll bar
mount a new set of Nittos
clean wheels
and a couple other little things

Ok Hawk and others....here is the newest information I have on my TA....
The guy who found the engine ran the numbers...they knew it came out of a 71 Vette...but the numbers he gave me that he got from GM on that engine were:
330hp @ 5600rpm
360tq @ 4000rpm
Running at a 9.0:1 CR
I did my research on that and it appears that this is a 1970 LT1 engine that somehow made its way into a 71 Vette. Those numbers exactly match what I have found on the web...no 71 engine had those precise numbers, but the 70 LT1 did. This appears to be the only logical explanation for how he could get those numbers from that engine...even from GM.
He also told me that my intake was at 1.940 and my exhaust was 1.500. Being somewhat novice to this can someone interpret what that means exactly??
He still hadnt been able to track down which cam they used, but was still working on it. Same for the Pistons..which he again guaranteed me were forged.

I know that the pistons they used can change the hp and tq, so that will factor into whatever final numbers I may get either on a dyno or at the track, but its at least a starting point.

Ideally I would like to be in the low 12s or so...top end doesnt really matter to me because I wouldnt be able to use it. I would have to admit curiousity though, but its unlikely I would ever have anywhere to find out.
