Good "He said POOP". Maybe I'll make it out there at least once this year, before I leave.

No . Ijust want people to have as much info as possible on the ring.
On another note the two days that the club members showed up I counted a total 15 accidents that happened at the ring.
Here is a break down of some stuff that happended in just our group of people. The grandest accident of all was that brand new GT2 with all the bells and whistles . that scrunched and totaled in front of our eyes.
silver camaro totaled
black camaro received a distinguished racing stripe
red mustang lost its brakes
black mustang conv went curb hopping
blue ford focus went curb hopping
black svt brake problems
blue ws6 slight brake problems
red toyota does a big spin in Addenauer Forst
just a note the start line they show is the old t13 start point . wher you enter and exit the ring is just about 150meters before antonious brucke . Ibelieve that is the second to the last map page.

Roy,
Slight brake problems Yep that was mine, hopefully I fixed that now. Not as good as your set up but hopefully I won't run into the same problems again! Are you going to be ready to go there in MAY??? If you are I'd like to tag along again! Wanna try out the new stuff on the car see if it better than the last time.

you forgot me spinning the Ricer #1 - still glad it was that car,
don't know if I had handled any other that well with no damage
(John will never forget that one - out of passenger view)

Yeah Squirel that was the bomb! Scared the mess out of me but it was still the bomb!!!!!! I'd hate to see you in a real car because you can drive. Don't think there is a big enough diaper for me to wear when rolling w/ you!
That racing stripe was me! That was my 1st lap in my car but not my 1st lap at the track though. That was a yr and a 1/2 ago and haven't been back since. I was poking along and just trying to familiarize myself w/ the track and everyone was passing me so I figure ah well follow suit. Some cars were tricked out others were not. Didn't think I'd hang but I did. Got to carried away and broke a turn too deep and the only way to correct was to drift through it (2nd Bruunchen Bend). Let's just say drifting at 45-50mph it has to be precise technique. Well the elevation changed at the end of the exit which I didn't see and did a 180 turn and kissed the guard rail backwards leaving me that nice front to rear rally stripe on the driver side of my car. This is the same turn w/ a brand new GT2 wiped out 1/2 later and big 1200cc bike did the do 10 mins after me! I watched him!
Debris and oil was on the track but thats beside the point.
I respect that track to the fullest. Oh and I'll be back this yr. Long overdue.

Roy:
There's no schedule for 2004 yet. Still construction works going on but should be finished mid to end of January.
Looking forward to meeting you all on the Ring this year!

Either way I need to go again, I had a blast last time!! My dad might be there in MAY and I would love to take him out there, he's a BIG F-1 fan so he'd love a trip at speed around there

No problem Roy, rather it was no damage so nobody remembers ...
Thanks John - you don't need a diaper, currently I drive a slow SUV.

Oh buddy! I just found my new thread Ive been setting my car up for handling while maintaining street manners. On another LS site ive been posting my progress of turning my stock TA ready to tackle the Ring. Wish i was a little closer to the ring then i was but 3-4 hour drive isnt TOO bad i guess. Gonna have to spend a weekend there. Bamberg is SOOO far away lol

Josh, Glad you made it over here for this. Although thou have been a member for some time, there is a lot of experience to be gained as compared to LS1.com. Just ask the question for the answer.
