I will try to do it tonight after I come from the police station. I have a lot of cleaning to do after that SOB robbed me. The sad thing is my neighbor seen him and I have a good idea who it is. He races here in Fayetteville if I see him I will run him over in the return lane and say he just jumped out in front of me. Weirder things have happened. As for breaking the timing chain that should noyt be an east feat. I have a heavy duty chain on it. There was no expense spaired in this motor. I just picked up some 1 3/4 primary header for the motor along with a 800 hp fuel pump. I am running 10 an line for fuel and 6 an for return. I have 5/8 inner diameter fuel rails. I am only waiting for an Intake before I drop it in. I will be changing the cam to a custom cam from comp this is the one I have in mind
114 lobe seperation
656 intake lift
664 lift exhaust
.050 duration of 244 intake and 256 exhaust.
Should be a nasty cam with room to spare if a chain does ever break. The block is also O-ringed so it is built great for boost or N2O but I will never spray it.

And it used to be a 351. Thanks a lot garry I appreciate it. My goal was 10s but I have been told under boost I could do 9s but that is too fast for a street car. If you all are still there in Germany I will be there in a couple of years. I think 395 Cubic inches is enough. For this summer I am going to run N/A till this winter then I am going to put a Vortec T-trim. My biggest fears is that Even N/A I may be out powering my axle. BUt I guess I will see. The only thing holding me up is the intake. That and I am going to run a smaller cam. Thanks again Garry.

Jeaz that's some serious hardware! I'll be gone by the time you get here though.
The more and more I think about it I'm definetly going Turbo when I get back 10-12lbs of boost will suffice. Shooting for 800+rwhp w/ a single setup. Good gawd that thing is gonna scream!

Do you know where you will headed to John? With the T-trim I could easily make 700 or more at the wheels but I think that would be way to much for street. To bad John I was actually going after you when I got back. I still owe you from our last race. We never did run with my boost just N/A. As soon as I get it in I will post some times. I believe I will get a high 10 or low 11 with my current suspension. I also got some Torq Thrust 2 wheels coming. And I am converting to 5 lug. After the roll cage goes in I will paint it. Right now I am trying to decide on a 9 inch or not.

Are you sure that bottom end is gonna be strong enough for the extreme power goals. I see you got the good rods in there with the bridged cap ends and spotfaced.

I have a friend running the same motor with a 250 shot 2 stage and it runs 9.7 and it has held together for 3 years and counting. I wont try to run 9s I just want 10s a 10.5 will make me happy. To do that I wont have to turn it to hard. The motor will hold but the rest of the car might not. Everything is forged and well balanced. I will be putting a stud girdle on the bottom end to make it a lot stronger. It is not uncommon for these motors to run 10 flat to mid 9s.

yep strong motor makes dashboard come lose
the 80killer was so strong that I had the dash in my lab at a testdrive on the autobahn J/K
yeah I once was looking into buying it but that car had so many mods,
- that binder of mods you could kill somebody with - that never ever I'd have gotten that monster to pass TÜV, it would have taken them centuries to go through all

sILKE YSilke you are talking about my Camaro. The motor is for my Mustang I am selling the Camaro. The dash came off because I forgot to put the screws back in it. If you thought it ran good then. It now has about 70 more horses and it moves. But I am selling it because I have to many cars. I have a 89 And 88 vert Mustang gt and a camaro. To many cars. So got to sacrafice the Camaro.
