Whats happening fellas, wanted to see if anybody in the KMC area would be interested in doing a group detail session. Spring is upon us now so lets hurt the scene with mirror wet reflections.......

Nice idea ... stupid thing is, once I'm finished and drive the 250k back home, I have to start over again ;) Still, I think we need to do some cruise soon ...

I knew you'd finally be willing to show your face with all the new improvements! When mine is finally running, I'll be there!

He's probably talking about a get-together like the Mustang guys do in Vogelweh, where they shine their cars and chat and stuff.

I'm up for that. What about water? ANd power for a buffer? Or is the main reason, just to hang out?

Either way, it sounds great

I think the idea is to go wash and dry it, and then park somewhere so everyone can see how you wax your ride!

I know of a site open-spot by the German Burger King located on Einseidler Hoff strassa. If someone knows of a shaded area that would be even better. Any Zaino users here? Let me know anything.....

You can put Zaino on in the sun, too, Jack ...

It's not a good idea though Garry! I highly advise against applying any kind of detailing product in direct sunlight. It's just not a good practice! ;) I've done it, but I've also learned my lesson!

Johnny I just saw the pics of the ride man and damn that came out nice. When I saw it up at deters I was a little optomistic but now I'm a believer. With that new paint I think johnny just wants to sit back and watch the rest of you work!!!!! and steel your secrets. J/k The car looks really good man I know your finally happy to have it back congrads.

Thanks for the compliment Guerardsgt, I was quite optimistic at first with Hugger but thats my all-time favorite Chevy hue so I couldn't abandon my color. Although all of these European metallic hues that I've seen are very nice! (especially the Mercedes hues)

Jack,
You think you could spare a couple of ounces of Zaino this weekend. I put an order in but I need to wax her immediately. Hit me up bro.......

Johnny

The deal is that I had a massive pinion bearing failure, from too much strain, caused by too much movement of the driveshaft. Now my diff is toast, and I now have a 2 piece driveshaft. I'm waiting to order some parts.
