It's finally done, sorta. I've only had it out a few times so far. Just a few "little" jumps, none over 1 foot high, I think. Afraid of rolling it over. (no sway bar now, made a big difference, feels like it wants to roll over) The removal of the windshield frame and the rest of the roof causes the car to flex below the dash area. (at the floor) Might have to add some more water pipe to stiffen that area up. Then again, wife wants it gone and I don't care if the car starts to fold on itself. Hmmmm, sounds like a challenge.

I did a couple of mods as well. Cut off the a.c. belt, removed the exhaust, and remounted the air intake over the headlight (with a little help of duct tape). The car will now burn the tires to third gear. There is less rubber on them though. Tried grinding off chunks of rubber but that took too long. The sawzall however, didn't take as long.

Now the tires have big grooves in them, looks kinda funny and they are louder (on pavement) now but I haven't gotten stuck in the woods yet.
For those of you who are wondering why, why not? It's something I always wanted to do.

I recommend trying it. Just as long as you don't use a F-Body.
BTW, glad I own a helmet. It saved my head last night, not from rolling over or tree branches, but from a rock that was flung at me from the tires. Left a mark/chip in the helmet. That would have hurt. Here's some pics, enjoy.
edit #? (lost track trying to fix this): I don't know why the pics are not coming up. Yes, I did the "tags", think that the site is not allowing them to come up this way. Here's a link to go to to see them:
http://community.webshots.com/album/113580439DwJndn/1 Pics of the "buggy" starts at the bottom and continues to the third page. If someone can make the pics come up and not too big, go ahead. ( Sorry, I suck at this computer stuff. But as you can see, I can tear a car up, no problem.
