Ok, if you say so. If he gets on it, though, you will be left in his exhaust fumes.  I've seen it too many times, to any and all types of cars. The HP/weight ratio is just too high.

Same thing happened to me with the slave cylinder. Ordered a "new" new one (made after 2000). Before 2000, there was a design flaw. No s**t. I was feeling froggy, so I did it myself. Saved a bunch of money, but it took 2 1/2 days by myself.  No problems since. What really sucks is that the slave takes only 2 minutes to change, literally.

that's okay. I have been on big bikes for 14 years, year round, including snow- yes, that's crazy- and I have had a few crashes in which I always learn from and have made me a much better rider.
oh, and yes, I laid it down before, but I always get it fixed and get it in even much better shape than before.
I never spent $6,000 at once, however.....that tells me that guy that is looking at spending that much money means that he really was doing something wrong- but-
Like I told Hawk, you got these people who come from the states with that 55-65 MPH state of mind and that aint sh!t here in Germany.
They get in a fast car or motorcycle and they think they know their stuff- but that's old news...we have all seen that type of people.
I am glad to give Hawk a quick ride.

Hawk, Bill (SGT William Burger) is giving me mixed signals.
He loves his SS, wants to get clutch slippage fixed, but he has no sense of urgency about it.
I told him that he can not blow off the maintenence on his SS.
He understands, agrees, and is taking care of it, and he has the money, (he ordered more stuff), but for reasons that I do not know, it does not seem to be a top priority for him.
If you do talk to him, please also stress the importance of proper maintenence
Hopefully, if he gets the chance, we will see Larry this week.
Just keeping you informed.

when it takes a dunp he will know it. I agree better to maintain and upgrade than start over.
