I didnt answer you on cz28 or lt1tech with you question because you know the answer.
you either punch a hole and tap it, or take it off. No easy answer buddy.
oil temp should be just like a ECT, I have thought about it and unless someone know of a way that uses the oil cool line (babbling here) I cant think of a differant feed line.

Yeah I kinda figure that. I was gonna weld the bung then do the tap w/ a small puncher. Then from there go w/ a larger punch until I could fit the sensor in w/out a problem. That way no fragments of any kind. Now I just need to decide where. I marked the pan when it was off but I think it's too high up and will hit the crank. Only one way to find out.
Wish I had the $$ for a Steph's custom made oil pan but oh well.

What up JC? Did you ever read my PM response? Nah I'm not back yet I wish I was though. What's the status on the 94? It's just a morosso pan I want to tap so I can put my oil temp guage in. I figured out a way to do it so I'll just hopefully have it done where my car is being painted since they do all work their.

Yea i read your message, no just waiting for you to get back. I don't really drive my 94 much. its too loud and I mean loud. I have had the cops called on me once already. I never thought I would say it was too loud but yea its rediculas loud. The whole long tubes no cats and SLP loudmouth was not the way to go. I got another exhaust on the way. This time I went with the Magnaflow and I am putting a cat in it to try t o hush it up alittle. I think it will work out better this way, it will restore some of my back pressure and hopefully wake up the bottom end some more.
Other than that its just working out all the little bugs that come with tuning and being meticulas. But yea its drivable so look me up when you get back. When are you coming back?
Later John

306, LT's and Loudmouth w/ no cat? I know exactly how loud it is. I didn't know you went that route w/ the exhaust though I could've warned ya. What ya gonna do w/ the loud mouth? Maybe HuggerC8 will take it off your hands since he's looking for another exhaust.
I'll be back shortly but I'll miss this wkend by hrs. You going to Bitburg this wkend w/ the Z? Hope you can make it.

JC, I'll take that LoudMoouth from ya. In fact, I need to talk to you about your setup. That is the same route I want to take, but with cats.
And I'm all kind of mad at you! I waited 6 months for my wheels and the day they get mounted, I see your car at your work. YOU GOT THE SAME DAMN WHEELS!
Its all good. They look sweet!

Let me know what you need to know, I have been playing with my car for 2 years now, I think I got some of it figured out.
I had to cut the I pipe on the loudmouth but if I do decide to sell it I'll let you know. I might put it on one of the many other projects I have. Either way I'll let you know.
I don't know about this weekend I have to work Sat. but I might go up after work.

Daddy don't feel bad you aren't the only one w/ Z06's around here. Danix has a pair too. So that makes 3 of you. I was exclusive w/ the hood for 4 yrs til last month. Can't reign forever.
I thought JC had chrome SS's?

I got the chrome SS's also but they started to look like crap so I treated myself to a set of Z06's. The SS's are now on my 92 purple RS.
Daddy did you get the 18's on all 4 corners? I did and I have to say that I can see why Vette's went with 17's up front. There isn't much of any cushioning between the bumps and the seats. I feel every bump. I guess thats the price I pay for the look I chose. Either way I am still happy with them.

Yeah, I got 18s all the way around. They look sweet. It rides rough, but Camaros always do. It'll be better when I get my suspension someday.

My Boyd 18 x 9's all round ride fine with Eagle F1 275/35's. They're a little harsher than the stock 16's with 50 profiles but not noticeably so, and they tramline a bit more but other than that, they're great. I don't believe 17's would be any different.
