Interior light:

After messing around with my battery and (after two years) getting my remote control for the central locking fixed I face a slight problem with the interior light:
After locking the car it will go off only after 15min. This is way too long!
Two weeks ago it went off immediately after locking. That was fine with me.
Now I just have exchanged the battery and the interior lighting gets confused.

I know there are some additional options for the interior light: turn the ignition key in ACC mode and turn up and down the dash illumination dimming switch. But this all won’t help!
No change whatever mode I choose.

Any help appreciated!

Hm ... I've had the same problem since the car was in inspection last year, but I first thought it was from the door switch (which it isn't as I later confirmed with my car alarm), and since believed it was from the car alarm itself ... make sure you post something about it if you find a solution, I would love to have my central locking again ... (I pulled the circuit breaker to get rid of the lights ...)

Speaking of lights...

I always have a problem with my right side lights...

My right brake lights dont work, even though all the bulbs are good...left side works fine....then my right turn signal doesn't work....but sometimes intermittent. All bulbs are good....I thought maybe it was a sticky relay, because at times it will come back for a week or two....then back out again....anyone seen similar?

Could be a short in the wire somewhere. You might want to consider having them fixed before you're next date with the inspector! ;)

yeah I paid 72 Euros at the local GM dealer to have them look at it...they said they found no problems....and even messed with the wires....when I pulled away, the right turn signal worked for 2 weeks ... lol.... I even crabbed about paying that much to have them not find anything...so they said they would look at if for free when I came in for oil and tranny oil change....to notice the request was crossed out due to "no time" to mess with it...
