 Post subject: No sound from the speakers

There is no sound coming out of the speakers.... I had that already once earlyer, the sound just went off. When I drove to Opel where it got installed it worked again just like that.

Now it happened again and I don't know what the heck... any idea?

Sounds like a intermittent short . Try wiggling all wires from the speakers back to the head unit. If that is the problem you will find it with a thorough hands on insp.

You have a loose connection on your ground wire.

yes, no sound from all the speakers.....

yesterday when I opened the QTEC there was again sound for a couple of seconds

You have a short in the head unit. Check the ground and the antenna wire.

so I guess the guys from Opel did shitty work, right?

what schould I better do now? go again to Opel and let those assholes fix their faults for free or just forget about them coz they won't do it better anyways and go to a good workshop?

HAHA!!! They work again!

I put the key on ACC and then made the radio on. It was again no sound. Then I opened the QTEC just to see if it works in ACC too. It works! And my speakers work since then too, haha! Well I hope they work untill Winter when I'll be doing some serious work and will be able to check all the cables and stuff...
