Whats up guys, I am looking for a good audio shop near stuttgart or Boeblingen.

I am getting a 2004 GTO in about 2 months and wanted to put in the Double Din Eclipse AVN system and some Eclipse Components/10" Eclipse Sub.

Only problem is that the GTO is very short on space and I am looking for a shop that can do some good fab' work to make it as stealthy and space saving as possible.

Thanks for the help.

Don't know about the enclosure, but the radio should not be that hard to do. I will look around and see what I can come up with.

I know we are not close, but if you come to the Bitburg drag races, you will see two cars with some awesome fiberglass/fab work :) Believe me, I have a convertible, I have no space in the trunk

Their is a member of the GTO forums who is having subs put in the passanger area where the arm rests are, supposedly there is a lot of space in that area. I'm waiting to see how it turns out with the possibility of finding a shop to duplicate it.

I'm only looking to put some 10's or 8's in.

Fiberglass is also a possibility, but I'm really looking to prevent putting the subs in the trunk. Then again, with the right install/look I could change my mind. Fiberglassing does get $$$ though.

hey I don't know how set you are on eclipse but if your wanting to use an 8" that will sound a lot bigger then it actually is try this

http://www.acoustic-visions.com/~acoust ... dire_koda/

I have the big brother to these in my TA. its the Brahma 15 in a 3.5 cube box tuned to 32hz and I can hit 156db all day long and it sounds awsome.

the koda is a aimed a bit more at the budget market but it will out do most of the budget stuff and some of the higher priced stuff on the market

the forums on that site are awesome for audio advice even if you don't want to use an Adire sub

Well I've looked into it a bit more and I plan saving money for some actual performance modifications.

Right now I am only going to change out the stock speakers/head unit.

Going to be getting 2 sets of Diamond Audio Components, Diamond Audio Amps, Diamond Audio Sub, and that Kenwood Double Din DVD Player Head Unit at the PX.

The shop I used to go to in the States is going to sell them to me for $1600 and ship it for free.

So I am still looking for a shop that can install this stuff.

If you want it done right, I suggest doing it yourself! I have had 2 so called "custom audio" shops in the states do install work on my SS. I will never let anyone touch her again! I will be willing to help, but honestly, unless you really trust the shop doing the work, do it yourself. Just my opinion.

Hey, I am all about getting help with it, I just don't know jack nor "He said POOP" about setting one up.

The shop I went to is really good and does great stuff, but then again when I went to Huachuca I ran into a realy shitty shop.

But sure, if you know how to do all this I am more than willing to get hands on and learn how to do it myself. I'll just need to find out what else I need to buy (ie wiring, harnesses, etc...).

I should have the car by the beginning of December, still needs to be shipped.

I'm still pricing some speakers, just looked into some Elemental Design Components....

Is there a good audio shop somewhere near Stuttgart that can do custom kickpanels?

Thanks for the help guys but I found a a good shop about 20 minutes away. The guy who owns it has won some awards (not that it means anything) and told me to stop by so he could take a look at the car.

I ended up just getting a set of Diamond Audio HEX Components and a 10" Titanium from Phoenix Gold.

Using the amps I have in my 'stang (800.1 PG and 400.2 DEI Viper).

What I really want to do is a rear seat delete and fiberglassing the sub in.

But I don't know if my wallet or wife would agree.

;)

Well I know that doing a rear seat delete with fiberglass would cost you an arm, a leg, and about $2500-3000.

So if by work something out you mean charge me only $1000-1500 for the entire install then I'm game.

;)

Yes, I have the subs, components and amps.

I even have the wiring from my rustang.

Thing is that I know this usually runs $3-4G to do, because of the man hours and not material cost, but that is out of my price range, especially after making the purchase and shipping the car here.

BTW this is what I am looking to do, so let me know your price. I could even demo your shop (ie let you put a logo on the install or your website - no stickers on my car though).

Like this but FiberGlassed, painted blue and some style added.

But end up looking like this, but one sub:

Actually, this is exactly the quality I am talking about:

Obviously my back seat is larger, but that design I can buy the second sub (I am getting the 10" Titanium Series PG's.)

My car is in the image gallery under Jazzy 91 check it out. I did that in two weeks on vacation working 16 hours a day. I know I am not the best out there but I'm damn good and I'm fair. Any one on this site who saw my car at bitburg can vouch for my work. I will work with you the best I can that is what it's all about.
