I better watch out, The sway bar does help traction.(weight transfer) Hylander bypass the power steering, I picked up almost 2/10ths. All you must do is grind two bolt heads near altenator, and buy a new short belt after the mod belt change is 20 seconds. It will be obvious when you study it, if you need help let me know? total price 20 bones for the belt.

You did it so it obviously paid off 11's WOW. Did you change heads yet? I am in the 12.8@ 109MPH Best time. I am curious about your combo VS cost. To reach 11's without heads. What mag are you going to be in?

I did not "change" heads, but have done some head work. They are milled .060, have a 3 angle valve job, seat grind and some minor port/polish work.

They are the "stock" heads, but are really no longer stock. I also have quite a few other things done that I don't advertise much either (hollow log mod, gutted cats, etc).

Actually the banks have the money. I just borrow it for a little while. LOL I am trying to put together a nasty street car that I do not have to worry about breaking, Because it was done right. I hate walking and missing shows.

I treated this car pretty good, this is bye far the best 4th gen rarity, power, fun factor this thing is like a porche in the states. This is my 3rd 4th gen and the first 2 are still here in Vilseck running fine the 94 needed a clutch at 75000 miles last year. The guy damaged the forgeline wheel a couple months ago on the 98 and had to drive it on the spare he said other than that he loves it . I would drive it hard but I always run sntec 5-30 and change it every 3000 miles. This car is solid and has no problems. I never ran slicks or needlessly rev the piss out of it to hear it run. I hope I answered your question.

You did, and that made me want it even more!! ;)

Naw, I'll be happy if I can just get a new hood, like the Ultra Z, then it would appear rarer...

FWIW Most people do not understand why I want a A4? So I shall try to explain. The automatic with a torque converter 3000 stall or so & trans brake & shift kit or manual valve body will allow me consistant launches without damage. A shift kit or manual valve body will allow wide open shifts manually without the hit to the driveline during every shift so I could run slicks if I want.
During racing events, I can focus more on driving than shifting we all have stories of the gear we missed LOL.I thought practice could be a solution, It falls short in reality out of every 100 shifts when the pressure is on you will miss a couple. I will be set of for autoX and road coarse with my manually shifted A4. I have driven the M6 for almost 7 years it is a great trans. My concern with this set up is the clutch, rear end and traction that have been the habitual problems. This is my opinion only I could be surprised next year!!! I was also looking into a better shifter's there are none that are reasonable for the M6. I am not talking about the hurst, ripper, I have had them and the pro ones destroy transmisions. Do not get me wrong I can shift, but I am not as good as a tweaked automatic with a stall.

sorry I'm so late adding my thoughts, but as a rule I dont come in here much.

FWIW II - a auto will hold zero advangtage over a stick until you get in the low 10's. Unless you are after consistancy ie bracket racing or making a trailer car, you would be better off stepping up to the plate and putting out for a 12 bolt.

A auto in auto X??? If I remember my trivia correctly, in the SCCA there was one auto that placed sense the class started.
