I like the lines of the C6. I think it pretty much resembles the C5, but I like the fixed headlights, as opposed to the pop-ups. I never really cared for them too much. I also love the rear of the car more. The only thing I really like better about the C5 is that thing that went across the backs of the seats. The C6 doesn't have that- it's more like the old ones, where you can just reach your hand back there and put crap back there, like in the Camaro.

@z06
The C6 is muuuuuuch nicer than C5/Z06. So buy yourself a C6 and give me your Z06

There are a lot of stuff I like more on the new C6 than the C5, i.e. the fixed headlights, the interior, improved fit & finish (according to new C6 owners on Vette forums), optional DVD nav system, the keyless ignition.
candyman, if I get a c6, it'll be the z06 version. I wouldn't buy it new though. I'd wait at least 2-years for a used one with low miles. Depreciation for the first 2-years sucks way too much to buy new. By the time I'd be ready to sell, you probably wouldn't be interested anyway, especially since the new Camaro will probably be out by then. And if I sell my current Z06, Bruce has first dibs on it. He said he was tired of driving a ricer!

Lucky it had been designed with an ugly pencil to start with and then repeatedly beaten by an ugly stic, dipped in a 5 year old's book of car pictures and tidied up by an idiot.
No, I don't like it. Did you guess?

1. The front looks like a Honda
2. The lights are something of nothing and seem to have had no design input, just a cover for the lights
3. I don't like the front grille
4. I don't like the ledge on the nose
5. The sides are too slabby and rise too much so visibility looks worse than the C5
6. The side scoop has no styling to it - just two straight lines
7. The rear centre light looks tacked on.
8. The rear lights look like they were taken straight off a C4
9. The rear plate aperture is awful
10. The Corvette script should be across the back
11. Take off the badge and it could be any car from Japan or possibly a Lotus
12. The design elements at the front, side and rear look like they were styled by 3 people who never met
13. The silver interior looks like it came out of a Japanese car
14. IT's narrower and taller than a C5 and when parked next to one, it's ungainliness becomes apparent.
15. It tries too hard to look Italian except the Italians can design cars that are immediately "Wow" and not contrived.
It's not all bad news. I like the wheels and think they'd look good on my Z06.
I've also seen the new Z06 and it addresses some of my dislikes but I think I'll be waiting for the C7 as my Z06 only has 4200 miles on it and I'm fortunate in that I don't consider it osolete and do not envy those who are going to buy a C6 in any way because I would rather have a Cadillac CTS-V than a C6.

Forgot one good thing for the C6: Now that it's out, you can probably get some good rebates on the C5's in the states, even brand new ones (should I take a trip with an extra suitcase? )

Sorry dude, but I like it. It may look Japanese, but everything is starting to look the same. Except for that damn CTS-V.
I thought it looked bad at first, but now, I wouldn't mind having one. Especially with that "big-block" they are talking about for the Z06

The Z06 does sound nice, but not in germany with local gas prices and taxes based on displacement ...
