A thump on the nose will do you fine, Sunshine!!!
That's Steve Beddor's winning hillclimb racer. At the top of Pikes Peak the air is thin, so you need such a spoiler to keep the rear wheels down for traction. Butt ugly though.

Probably a ricer who won the lottery ... somehow, nobody told him that you don't need an extra bookshelf to make a Porsche go fast, contrary to a Honda ...

Daddy wrote: How's the go-kart going anyways? Coming along nicely. Most of the bits have found their place. Biggest problem still is the header/silencer. Stupid 93 DB rule, otherwise I would just dump the fumes straight up (like those nitro-burners). Also need to get a few trick titanium bits welded. Geared it for 200 km/h tops (which propably feels like 400 km/h when your butt is 1 inch off the floor). Daddy wrote: And the tour?
Could not reach the tour coordinator all week, left a call-back. Will try again next week.

At more than 1000 bhp/ton I think that the "thing" might be a number too big for you. If you can beat me at Auto-X then I would let you take it out for a spin.
@ Roy: Yeah, when you turn up at the welders with Ti bits they slam the door as if you you are carrying some deadly virus.

You think it really is? Or just the logo stuck to it?

@ Garry , Idon't think Ruf has kits for the general public. but it is a very crude wing design, but it must do the job.
Where as this guy just runs what he brung to Pikes peak.

This RUF belongs to David Beddor, brother of Steve (who owns the ugly one at the top).
Yes, Alois had a "weak" moment when he designed that tail. Fortunately he doesn't do it any more.

I can't believe his wife let him design that. But that is definitely the same car
I leached this pict from a RUF page showing this wing design which was probably the original design in the beginning.

You mean to tell me that the top picture with that wing is genuine RUF? Was the designer temporarily insane or what?
