Just picked up my baby. Too bad she missed most of this summer. I'm tired of driving the beater. Had to peg her speedo on the way back from Schweinfurt.

:D Thx Ben.

:P It's not like I'll have those plates long anyway. So, I don't like my plate number online.

:?: Has anyone tried the spray that's supposed to defeat camera's? Not that I want to break the law or anything.

Those spray/reflection/whatever things won't help ... computer tools help the police that they will in most cases get you no matter what you do ... plus you're in for more trouble as you use outlawed things to try to make your plate unreadable ...
There's enough Autobahn around w/o limits, plus occasional Bitburg etc. ... that's a lot safer than speeding ...

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has thought about doing that.

I'm still waiting on my 140+ in a 100 from early July, hopefully it'll never come

Nice car. I like the stripes. Are you taking it to Bitburg the first weekend of September?

I'm going to try. Need to check my calender at work. Also need to go over the car. Just discovered a P/S hose leak. I haven't seen my car for 11 months. I hope there isn't more. How are the Chevy/GM dealers in Germany with parts or am I better off buying online?

I would buy it on-line. I usually buy my replacement parts from GM parts direct http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/. You will need to find out the part number. You can get the P/N from AAFES Garage or do a search on Google.

Thanks man, I'll at least bring the car to Bitburg to meet whoever shows. May not abuse her this year. She has new trans with about 400 miles and when I left her in the states she was in the shop getting a new rearend. Tooo much juice. I thought it would be better to leave the bottle and stuff in the states.

You are gonna wish you would have brought the bottle. I know of a few out there running it over here. If you go to Bitburg, I don't think you will be able to resist the racing. I know there are alot of Mustangs that are going the be there and they love to lose to the LS1.

Oh and I do love the Horse meat. I'll put an extra shine on the rear bumper for them. :)

Never ran this car at track after mods. Ran first saturday after I bought it, started high 13's. Had to mid 13's after playing with tires and getting used to trans. It has Goodyear Eagle HP 255/50ZR16 on the back and 245/50ZR16 on the front (Had to massage left rear inner fender, it rubbed on hard right corners) on stock 5star 10spoke wheels. Hawk ceremic racing pads, slotted rotors, Spohn Engineering Panhard bar & lower control arms, MSD 8.5mm plug wires, SLP air box & 85mm MAF, K&N filter, ported & polished throttle body, Crane 1.7 rocker arms, Flowmaster Exhaust, and custom programmed ECU (retarded timing 4deg, adj for tires, etc).

Audio; The factory amp is just on the two 4"s in the hatch using the mid output. The front four speakers are Pioneer 3-ways with a 400W Pioneer Amp. I'd planned to make a custom fiberglass enclosure for a 10" sub in the left rear part of the hatch area. Just haven't got around to it, and I don't want to pay Q-logic for it.
