No I actually think that is a "Lenco" race tranny but I could be wrong.

I actually think (HUH?) that is a "Lenco" race tranny (NOPE) but I could be wrong (YUP) :wink: .

Yes it is a CVT. Rather than gears it uses two adjustable pulleys with a metal belt between them. That's why it stays on the redline and you don't hear any shifting.

CVT's (like communism) are wonderful ideas, but both fail in the application.
