My Z4 requires 10W-60, I've never even seen this before. The sales rep says I can buy it on base but I don't know where. The auto parts store on Vogelweh won't order it. Anyone know where I can get some?

Judging from the price of regular oil for my Volvo at the Volvo place & what a 5 quart bottle is in the "free market", be prepared to pay a fortune for it @ BMW ...

I know it'll be expensive from them, that's the frustrating part. The dealer also told me I'll void the warranty if they can tell I changed it myself.

I just found it on-line in the states for $11.50 per liter and I'm supposed to get 8. Rediculous.

I did when I first got the car, but I stopped years ago; I still go to the site every now and then. It seems like a good club, but their meets are almost always in the mid-west or someplace I really didn't want to drive (really long distance). I don't think you'll get much out of the membership since your'e living here.

I didn't pay for the membership, just meant the Firehawk registry ...
